In the following year, Ryan joined UMass Amherst鈥檚 coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. In 2021, he helped UMass Amherst win the National Championship against St. Cloud, resulting in the fewest losses of a national champion since the 1992-93 University of Maine team. After the season, Ryan arrived at the Hillside where he has coached the 18U team as an assistant before becoming the head coach for the 16U team.

Ryan has deeply enjoyed his time at South Kent, as he looks to develop student athletes on and off the ice and prepare them for post-graduate opportunities. He also has an admiration for the聽 legacy of South Kent hockey, and he aims to continue setting the bar high for student-athletes, maintaining the school鈥檚 prestige. In his free time, Ryan likes spending time with his husky Kaia, golfing, and skiing with friends and family.

Drew Lambert is a new assistant on the 16U Hockey coaching staff, coming from West Barnstable, MA. Hockey has been in Drew鈥檚 blood since he was a young kid, as he has remained dedicated to the sport. After being a standout prospect in high school, Drew received a scholarship to play at DIII New England College from 2017-2021. Along with his stellar play, Drew shined in the classroom, winning Academic All-Conference Honors twice in his career. He was also a dual sport athlete, starring on the New England College lacrosse team.聽

Following his graduation in 2021, Drew earned an opportunity to coach at Culver Military Academy in Indiana. He spent three seasons coaching as an assistant for the U16 AAA and U18 AAA teams, and he later was the Varsity A head coach. Drew succeeded from the get-go at Culver, racking up several accolades such as helping qualify for Nationals three times, winning the MidAm District Championship twice, and getting crowned as Indiana Class 4A champions once. From 2022-23, Drew coached on the U18 AAA staff that helped the squad earn a #2 national ranking.

Drew continues to develop loads of hockey talent, specifically from his tenures with Pinnacle Hockey Club and Paul Vincent Skating. Drew runs the Pinnacle Hockey Club hockey operations, allowing him to gain recruiting experience by handpicking his own teams. His tenure with Paul Vincent has enabled him to pick the brains of several well-renowned professional coaches, preparing him to instruct high level hockey talent. From mini mites to professionals, Drew has been at the forefront of nurturing hockey players to fulfill their entire potential. In two summers, over 17 players have committed to play college hockey under Drew鈥檚 guidance.

Goodliffe has spent the last year coaching for Prime Goaltending, training young goaltenders to enhance their skills. Previous to working as a goaltending coach, Coach Goodliffe worked with equipment suppliers as a Goalie Sales Assistant for Wesco Sports and as a Customer Service Representative for Cooke鈥檚 Skate Supply.

Coach Goodliffe joins South Kent to continue to inspire and develop young athletes so they are prepared for the next level. In his free time, he enjoys the health and fitness space.

Coach Bonis was a competitive cyclist and now competes as an open water swimmer, conquering the 2018 Lake Champlain Open Water Race and the 2019 Peaks to Portland open water swim. Whether it is climbing the tallest peak in the Rocky Mountains, swimming across the largest lake in New England, clinging to a rock face, or pushing impressive weight in various directions, Coach Bonis has spent the better part of his life connecting with people through fitness.

Coach Bonis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and has taught anatomy, physiology and philosophy. He has been mentoring student-athletes both inside and outside the weight room at 淫人色欲社 since 2005. The classes he has taught, as well as the training programs he has designed, always take the mind and body connection into account. An excellent motivator, Coach Bonis knows that it takes self-reliance to accomplish anything, 鈥淲orking out is not always the hardest thing, it鈥檚 sometimes just getting to the gym that is the most challenging part.鈥�
